      I’m currently partnering with a leading global consultancy group to support their search for a talented and strategic Head of PPC to join their expanding digital marketing team based in Manchester!

      This is a high-impact role that sits at the heart of the Group’s digital performance strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Associate Director of Digital Marketing and will take full ownership of all paid search activity across multiple business units.

      This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced performance marketer to shape and scale a sophisticated paid media function within a fast-paced, global organisation.

      You’ll be responsible for the strategic planning, hands-on management, and continuous optimisation of PPC campaigns across Google and Microsoft platforms – with a focus on lead generation, efficiency, and innovation.

      As a senior member of the digital team, you’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and driving best practices across the board.

      Day to Day

      • Manage and optimise multiple PPC accounts across Google and Microsoft Ads platforms.
      • Develop and lead strategic paid media plans aligned with business growth objectives.
      • Integrate additional paid channels such as paid social and programmatic into the performance strategy.
      • Deliver consistent improvements in campaign efficiency and lead quality through testing and data analysis.
      • Own and manage substantial media budgets with full accountability for performance and ROI.
      • Ensure robust tracking, attribution, and campaign reporting.
      • Produce regular reports and insights for senior stakeholders across the Group.
      • Mentor and coach team members to support capability development within the PPC function.
      • Maintain high standards and implement PPC best practices across all activity.

      YOU?

      • 5+ years’ experience in PPC campaign management within a high-performance environment.
      • Proven track record managing large budgets and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
      • Strong understanding of biddable media, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, remarketing, paid social, and display.
      • Data-driven mindset with advanced skills in Excel, Google Analytics, and Data Studio.
      • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams.
      • Experience in managing and developing junior team members.
      • Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends and a passion for innovation.
