Digital Events Manager
This role will working closely with the marketing and sales team, and other teams within the business to ensure webinars run smoothly and effectively, and deliver against lead and revenue targets. This role will own the webinar plan for Canada, managing webinars and digital events end-to-end, from pre-webinar promotion to lead management into sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
You will be working in Downtown Toronto, off of King and Union station
Monday-Friday 8:45-5:00PM
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Deliver the webinar plan including content schedule, multi-channel promotional plan, marketing platform deliverables and sales plan to meet lead and revenue targets
- Manage the operations of webinars from set up to post-webinar, ensure attendees experience is seamless – from scheduling and hosting prep calls, all the way to on-the-day speaker support and post-webinar debrief
- Deliver sales blueprint including launch of all new webinar series, sales training, sales support collaterals, reporting and insights to meet targets
- Work with subject matter experts and marketing team to create content and scripts required for live/ simulated live webinars
- Coordinate and support the delivery of multi-channel promotion (web, paid media, email, organic social) to drive registration and attendance of webinars
- Manage partner webinars end-to-end
- Prepare and distribute regular lead reports for sales teams and marketing teams
- Use project management systems (e.g. Jira) to efficiently manage webinar operations
- Create briefs for marketing team to support webinar promotion e.g. social media brief, email marketing brief, design brief
- Regularly attend competitor/ industry webinars to take learnings, recommendations and trial new approaches
- Regularly review tools and digital resources available to maximize webinar decision maker attendance
What you bring to the Team
- 3+ years of experience managing webinars/ digital events end-to-end
- Experience in using webinar platforms and confident in organising live webinars
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills – working with both marketing teams and sales teams
- Excellent organizational skills and time management, work well in a fast-pace environment and able to deliver before deadlines
- Not afraid to challenge and be open to challenges
- Good understanding of commercial goals
- Can quickly build a strong working knowledge of our website and webinar platforms (ON24) in order to deliver excellent service to our clients and identify new ways to deliver our services.
