      We are currently supporting a respected, top-tier accountancy and business advisory practice, I am delighted to be recruiting for a Tax Administrator to join their London office!

      This firm is a major player within the professional services sector, recognised nationally for its work with SMEs and mid-market clients. With an extensive UK and international presence, they offer a collaborative environment and the opportunity to work within a high-performing tax team.

      The Tax Administrator will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the tax department. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional setting.

      Day to Day

      Department Support

      • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, providing professional and timely responses.
      • Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and telephone calls.
      • Organise meeting rooms, equipment and catering for internal and client meetings.
      • Oversee departmental stationery and supply inventories, including ordering and procurement.

      Administrative Tasks

      • Create, edit and format documents using Microsoft Office to a high standard.
      • Handle printing, scanning and general document management.
      • Follow up on missing timesheets and ensure deadlines are met.
      • Assist with diary management and team scheduling.

      Technical & Compliance Support

      • Maintain practice management systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
      • Support client onboarding, invoicing, and disengagement processes.
      • Assist with tax investigation administration and renewal tasks.
      • Prepare client packs and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
      • Proofread documents for clarity, accuracy and professionalism.
      • Contribute to internal projects and occasional community initiatives.

      YOU?

      • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
      • Experience in a similar administrative role within an accountancy or professional services environment (desirable).
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
      • Confidence using or learning specialist software such as CCH, Alphatax, CoZone and other practice management tools.
      • Awareness of Anti-Money Laundering and regulatory compliance processes (desirable).
      • A proactive, reliable and detail-focused approach to supporting both colleagues and clients.
