I’m currently supporting a fast-growing, digitally driven business in the professional services sector with the recruitment of a talented SEO Outreach Manager. This is a newly created role in response to genuine growth within a high-performing global marketing function. The SEO function is expanding, and they’re investing in talent to strengthen performance across organic search. You’ll have a pivotal role in enhancing search visibility through relevant and authoritative link acquisition, working alongside content, PR, and demand generation teams.
This is more than a technical SEO role – it’s about influence, strategy, and unlocking the value of collaborative marketing.
Day to Day
- Work closely with the Global Head of SEO to shape and deliver the outreach roadmap.
- Develop and execute strategic link acquisition initiatives to improve domain authority and organic rankings.
- Collaborate with content, PR, and marketing teams to amplify campaign assets and generate SEO value.
- Evaluate competitors’ backlink strategies and identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation.
- Create content briefs with a strong focus on avoiding content duplication and maintaining quality standards.
- Report on the impact of outreach efforts and contribute to overall SEO performance tracking.
- Optimise content across landing pages and blogs to ensure seamless user journeys from acquired links.
- Stay on top of search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to keep strategies agile and effective.
- Support wider SEO and performance marketing goals and contribute to team success.
YOU?
- 3-4+ years’ experience in a link acquisition or SEO outreach role.
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices, particularly around link building strategies and quality metrics.
- Strong written English skills with an eye for compelling content opportunities.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to draw actionable insights from SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Self-starter mentality with the confidence to find opportunities and drive them forward independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working across multiple territories and managing outreach plans across diverse markets.
- Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple link-building activities simultaneously.
- Curious and eager to learn, with a focus on improving processes through new tools or efficiencies.
