Paid Search Specialist/Manager

Overview
A newly created opportunity has arisen for a results-driven, analytical, and highly organised Paid Search Specialist/Manager to join a fast-growing global marketing team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in PPC who thrives in a data-focused, performance-led environment and enjoys working across international markets.
You will be working full-time on site, in our brand new office in Downtown Toronto, off of King and Union station!
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Ownership: Take full ownership of planning, building, and managing PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and AI tools in regions including the UK, Canada, and Australia.
- Data-Led Optimisation: Analyse campaign performance in detail and implement strategic optimisations to drive continuous improvement.
- Test & Innovate: Apply a methodical test-and-learn mindset to trial automated bid strategies, match types, Performance Max, RSA best practices, and other emerging features.
- CRO Execution: Develop and execute impactful conversion rate optimisation tests in collaboration with in-house development teams.
- Data Integrity: Assist in troubleshooting and improving the accuracy of conversion tracking and data integration across platforms.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing peers to launch new initiatives and ensure campaign alignment across channels.
- Growth Focus: Partner with leadership to hit channel performance targets and support long-term strategic growth.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: Minimum 3 years managing lead generation PPC campaigns with significant monthly budgets across multiple platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, and Excel is essential.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute long-term PPC strategies and structured testing plans.
- Targeting Expertise: Solid understanding of audience segmentation and practical use of first-party data in paid media.
- Optimisation Capabilities: Proven experience in conducting fair A/B tests and scaling optimisations across large accounts.
- Process Improvement: A proactive approach to streamlining workflows; interest in adopting tools such as Looker Studio, Supermetrics, and AI-driven technologies.
- Industry Awareness: Keeps up-to-date with digital marketing trends and quickly adapts to changes in platform algorithms, policies, and best practices.
