      People & Culture Advisor

      Location: North-West London – On-site

      Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
      Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum + car allowance
      Travel: Occasional travel to other company sites

      Are you a proactive HR professional with a strong foundation in Employee Relations and an upbeat, energetic approach? We are working with a construction company looking for a People & Culture Advisor to join a small, collaborative HR team in North-West London.

      The Role
      As our P&C Advisor, you will be the go-to contact for line managers, providing confident guidance, coaching, and mentoring on HR processes.

      • Leading disciplinary investigations, grievances, short-term/long-term sickness cases, and probationary reviews.
      • Drafting well-reasoned, effective outcome letters and communicating clearly with colleagues via phone and email.
      • Assisting with general HR admin, contract generation, and processing maternity/paternity paperwork to support the team during leave or peak periods.
      • Contributing to the maintenance and update of company HR policies.

      Experience

      • Strong ER knowledge, handling disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management cases from start to finish.
      • Confident building relationships with managers, offering robust advice, and writing high-quality professional correspondence.
      • Highly organised and able to easily prioritises tasks in a busy environment.

      Desirable Experience

      • Experience with TUPE or redundancies is an advantage, but not essential.
