Job Overview
The role requires you to work in a team providing legally compliant solutions and advice to clients by telephone and email in all aspects of Revenue guidelines and applicable HR and Employment Law in relation to payroll. This will in turn support the business needs of individual clients whilst highlighting any commercial options that are non-compliant and the risks these present. This role requires a particular focus on attention to detail and a strong client focus. This is a good opportunity for someone with Payroll specialist who is looking to further their HR knowledge.
- Work as part of a collaborative team to provide accurate, legally compliant payroll advice to clients
- Deliver guidance via phone, email, and video call on Revenue requirements and relevant HR and employment legislation
- Support clients’ business needs while clearly identifying non-compliant options and explaining associated risks
- Manage and monitor consultants’ diaries, ensuring bookings follow internal protocols and cancelled appointments are prioritised for rebooking
- Keep knowledge up to date on Revenue guidelines, payroll legislation, and HR and employment law
- Handle a predominantly call-based caseload, adapting communication methods to suit client preferences
- Take ownership of cases from initial enquiry through to resolution, building strong professional relationships with clients
- Accurately record all advice and actions on the internal case management system and manage ongoing case progression
- Provide tailored supporting information and documentation to help clients implement advised solutions
- Ensure all advice aligns with company-approved documentation and internal service standards
- Review client policies, terms, and conditions and tailor advice accordingly
- Refer to internal training materials and legal updates to ensure ongoing compliance
- Undertake and report on client site visits when required by management
- Advise on a wide range of topics, including statutory and holiday pay, SSP, PAYE, tax, and PRSI
The successful candidate will bring:
- IPASS Qualification, and CIPD or Bachelors in Human Resources
- Excellent knowledge of payroll and Revenue guidelines
- Exceptional communication, attention to detail and organisation skills
- Professional and confident manner when interacting with clients
