      • Position:Part-Time Senior Human Resources Advisor
      • Location: Remote (EST time zone)
      • Compensation: $28.00-$35.00
      • Type:Part-Time including weekend and evening hours

      Overview:

      The Senior HR Advisor (Part-Time) will assume responsibility for delivering expert and strategically driven HR advice to a dynamic and expanding client base, predominantly through telephone calls during weekend and evening hours. This role will involve offering comprehensive guidance and solutions to clients across a broad spectrum of HR issues, ranging from routine inquiries to intricate and complex matters.

      This position is a great fit for someone who thrives working independently, communicates clearly, and brings a strong grasp of Canadian employment law (particularly in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta) and HR best practices.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Offer timely, practical, and legally compliant HR advice to clients across various industries.
      • Support inquiries related to employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, terminations, and policy development.
      • Apply in-depth knowledge of provincial employment standards (Ontario, BC, Alberta) and common law principles.
      • Accurately document advice and maintain up-to-date client records.
      • Build and sustain professional, trust-based relationships with clients.
      • Deliver service with empathy, professionalism, and a focus on client experience.
      • Escalate complex or high-risk matters to senior advisors when needed.
      • Stay current on employment legislation and evolving HR best practices.
      • Contribute to internal learning initiatives and process improvements.

      Requirements:

      • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an advisory or consulting capacity.
      • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline.
      • CHRP designation (or in progress) strongly preferred.
      • Solid understanding of employment legislation in Ontario, BC, and Alberta.
      • Hands-on experience with workplace investigations and termination processes is an asset.
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
      • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and stay composed under pressure.
      • Tech-savvy, with experience using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Salesforce and MS Teams).
