HR Consultant
€50K – €60K + benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Consultant to join a highly skilled consultancy team operating in a dynamic and engaging environment. The role offers significant variety and involves delivering professional, high-quality HR and employment law support to a diverse client base.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong command of employment legislation and HR best practice, paired with a commercial, solutions-focused mindset when advising clients. You will support clients in achieving their people management objectives by providing expert guidance, practical solutions, and exceptional service across all areas of HR and employment law.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Deliver expert HR and Employment Law advice to clients across multiple sectors
- Develop, tailor, and present effective HR solutions to meet specific client needs
- Manage and lead complex workplace investigations, including disciplinary, grievance, and dignity and respect matters
- Provide clear, practical, and commercially focused HR advice through on-site support, telephone, video conferencing, and email
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively developing new client partnerships
- Promote HR and Employment Law expertise and identify opportunities to expand consultancy services
- Monitor, research, and interpret developments in employment legislation and HR best practice
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of compliance tools, products, and HR solutions
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider organisation to ensure client needs are met effectively
- Work directly with client organisations to resolve HR challenges, strengthen internal HR capability, or support upskilling of HR teams
- Draft professional written materials and contribute to employment law and HR publications
- Review client policies and procedures, advising on updates required to ensure legal compliance
What you Bring to the Team
- Third-level qualification in HR, Employment Law, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR or consultancy role
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law in unionised and non-unionised environments
- Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong research, writing, organisational, and project management abilities
