      Commercial HR Advisor | £30,000 – £35,000 + uncapped commission | Manchester

      The Portfolio Group is proud to be exclusively partnering with a market-leading HR Software solutions provider to recruit experienced HR Advisors who thrive in a commercial, client-facing environment.

      This is not a traditional advisory role. We’re looking for credible HR professionals with presence, confidence and a consultative sales mindset, who enjoy influencing, problem-solving and showcasing the value of expert HR support to prospective clients.

      The Role

      You’ll support Business Development Managers during sales meetings and demos, providing high-quality HR and Employment Law advice to prospective clients across multiple sectors.

      You’ll use your expertise to identify risk, offer practical solutions and demonstrate commercial value, helping prospects understand how outsourced HR support can benefit their business. This is a high-impact, visible role where your advice directly influences business decisions and revenue growth.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Join sales meetings (video/phone) alongside BDMs to provide HR & Employment Law advice
      • Advise on live HR issues to demonstrate expertise and service value
      • Build strong relationships with sales teams to support successful outcomes
      • Log advice accurately and hand over cases to the Advisory Team
      • Support sales and marketing activity via calls, emails and webinars
      • Deliver internal training, coaching and employment law updates

      What We’re Looking For

      • Strong HR Advisory experience with solid Employment Law knowledge
      • Confident, credible communicator with a consultative, sales-oriented mindset
      • Comfortable presenting and influencing in live client environments
      • Ambitious, commercially aware and motivated by success
      • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
