The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Finance Graduate to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance and gain valuable experience within a fast-paced commercial environment.

Working within the Sales Ledger function, you will play an important role in ensuring client contracts and financial information are processed accurately and efficiently. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Processing and validating client contract information to ensure accurate onboarding within agreed service levels.
Raising account adjustments and refunds in a timely and accurate manner.
Managing direct debit administration, including setting up, amending and removing payment details.
Posting cash receipts, credits and unallocated payments to client accounts.
Supporting the maintenance of client records and standing data within finance systems.
Working closely with sales and client-facing teams to resolve queries and ensure a positive customer experience.
Contributing to process improvements and supporting the wider finance team as required.

About You

A recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Excel.
Organised, methodical and able to manage a high volume of work effectively.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across different teams.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a structured and fast-moving environment.
