Location: Montreal | Hybrid – 2 days on site
Languages: Fluent French & English
A well-established manufacturing company in Montreal is seeking an experienced Paymaster to join their dynamic payroll team. This role is ideal for a payroll professional who excels in high-volume environments and has strong multi-provincial experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle payroll processing for Canadian employees and US employees
- Work with UKG (open to other payroll software experience)
- Ensure accurate processing for QC and ON payrolls
- Manage year-end activities including T4s, W-2s, and WSIB
- Handle both union and non-union payroll requirements
- Maintain compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
- Produce accurate payroll reports; support audits and internal reviews
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of multi-provincial payroll legislation
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and reporting
- Fluent in French (written and spoken) essential
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with UKG or similar payroll systems
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
