      Role: SAP Payroll Manager

      Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid, 2 days on-site)

      Salary: $132K to $151K

      Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across Canada. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for payroll accuracy, compliance, team development, and continuous process improvement.

      Overview:

      • Lead end-to-end payroll processing for Canadian employees
      • Support U.S. payroll activities as needed
      • Drive payroll process improvements, controls, and efficiencies
      • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
      • Oversee payroll accounting procedures and internal controls
      • Act as the escalation point for complex payroll inquiries
      • Manage year-end payroll activities including T4s, T4As, RL-1s, reconciliations, and reporting
      • Lead, coach, and develop the payroll team
      • Oversee CNESST claims and related financial activities
      • Administer executive benefit programs including RRSP, HSA, insurance, and other plans

      What We’re Looking For:

      • CPM designation (or equivalent)
      • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, HR, or a related field
      • 10+ years of progressive Canadian payroll experience
      • 5+ years of payroll leadership experience
      • Experience supporting payroll for 500+ employees
      • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, tax, and compliance requirements
      • Experience with payroll implementations or system upgrades is an asset
      • U.S. payroll experience is an asset
      • Strong systems aptitude, analytical skills, and attention to detail
      • Excellent communication and leadership skills
      • Bilingual (English/French) preferred
      • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors ECP or similar enterprise payroll systems is an asset
