UK PAYROLL SPECIALIST

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a leading media organisation, supporting the team with UK and Irish Payroll

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of manual journals and resolving reconciliation queries
Working with the SAP Tech support team on BAU system changes and completing UAT
Review of accurate and timely end to end processing of Irish and UK (including IR35) payrolls in collaboration with various departments within News UK and other Group Companies
Resolving payroll queries raised by other members of the team, employees and various departments within News UK, Wireless and other Group Companies
Produce periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports

What We’re Looking For:

Clear understanding of employment law and tax regulations and the application to payroll procedures for ROI (and UK would be an advantage)
SAP ECC 6 HR/Payroll system
Good Excel skills (Pivot tables, v-look up, nesting formulae)
Passionate about the work you do, embracing every opportunity to do your best work
Principled in the way you go about your role and the decisions you make
Purposeful with a strong desire to achieve and deliver work to a high standard
Resilient working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to collaborate, be agile and pragmatic
