Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a part‑time role within a friendly, people‑focused firm? Our client, a long‑standing and highly reputable chartered accountancy practice, is seeking a confident Payroll Executive to join their warm and collaborative team.

The Role
As the Payroll Executive, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Payroll processing for weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles
- Auto‑enrolment and pension submissions
- RTI submissions to HMRC
- Handling statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.)
- Managing client queries and providing friendly, professional support
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with UK legislation
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and personality to the team:
- Experience in bureau payroll or practice‑based payroll
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- Confident using payroll software (BrightPay, Sage, Iris or similar)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented approach
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
