Portfolio HR & Reward are delighted to be supporting our client on the recruitment of their Reward & Recognition Specialist. This role will support with the implementation of the company reward and recognition activities. This role will support the Reward and Recognition Manager in delivering a full range of cyclical and BAU reward management activity. This will also include supporting with the annual pay compensation processes, maintaining pay structures and supporting with long service and STAR awards recognition schemes.
The role is remote with one day on site in East Croydon per week. The salary for the role is £45-£55k

About the role
- Support the Reward and Recognition Manager with the delivery of total reward and recognition BAU processes and activity.
- Maintain the grading structure for Managerial and Administrative staff.
- Maintain the job description database and provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on creating meaningful and inclusive job descriptions.
- Undertake job evaluation for new roles or roles that undergo significant change.
- Ensure timely and accurate input into group/industry salary surveys and provision of reward and recognition information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work in partnership with Talent, Diversity & Inclusion on gender pay gap reporting.
- Manage, review effectiveness, and continuously improve of all non-pay reward and recognition methods including peer-to-peer ‘thank you’, instant awards, long service awards, award nominations and social recognition.
- Work closely with the Employee Communications and Engagement team to co-deliver recognition plans, including events such as the long service awards and Star Awards.

- Experience as a HR generalist or people operations role
- Strong excel skills with the ability to undertake data analysis and create reports
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on projects
- Strong interpersonal/communication and relationship building skills
- Experience of compensation surveys and market data analysis
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to work alone
- Ability to think creatively about employee recognition and solutions
- Strong attention to detail with a keen in interest in the People profession
