      Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our Kent based client to recruit for a Procurement Manager.

      The role:

      You will be tasked with the strategic procurement of goods and services and ensuring all internal stakeholders are successfully advised and guided.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • To implement policies and procedures
      • Plan and procure services, goods, and equipment
      • Management of all supplier contracts
      • Train and manage other members of the procurement team
      • Work closely with internal stakeholders and resolve any queries
      • Ensure that all required stock is on site when needed
      • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers

      Skills and Experience required:

      • At least 3 years’ experience in a Procurement department
      • Previous management/leadership experience
      • Must have worked in a highly regulated procurement department
      • Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
      • CIPS or Degree level qualification
