Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our well-known London based client to recruit for an IT Procurement Specialist.
The role:
As my clients IT Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for sourcing a range of IT equipment and digital services. You will be charged with managing a variety of complex and high value procurement and tender activities alongside managing a variety of vendors. That role will be charged with performing strategic procurement activities across your defined portfolio of spend.
The candidate:
- Membership of the CIPS or working towards this qualification or equivalent, or a degree level or equivalent education
- Experience in IT category management, including running tenders for a variety of software and hardware and digital services
- Strong day-to-day project planning, and delivery skills
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
- Proven experience of managing a varied range of internal stakeholders
This role comes with an excellent Hybrid work pattern.
