A rapidly growing business with a strong reputation, is currently looking to hire a UK Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Payroll Specialist will join as a senior member of the payroll team and support the Payroll Manager.
This role is a hands-on role and will require candidates to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Process a start to finish payroll for a high volume of UK employees – 2000+
- Administer all statutory deductions – including SSP, SMP, SPP, N.I & PAYE
- Process all starter & leaver paperwork
- Resolve payroll queries speedily and efficiently
- HMRC submissions
- Support the Payroll Manager with day to day managing of the team
- Act as a senior POC within the team and support with anything escalated
- Support with training & mentoring
