Job Overview
You will be a key part of the finance team assisting with the processing an in-house company payroll as well as dealing with various finance administrative duties.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Processing an in-house monthly payroll for approximately 100 employees from start to finish.
- Dealing with various payroll queries
- Inputting starters/leavers, holiday pay etc
- Complete the reconciliation of the various group bank accounts in a timely manner throughout the month
- Process BACS payments ensuring correct allocation of funds and accurate recording in both the underwriting and accounting systems
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working on in house UK payrolls
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
- Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working in accountancy and dealing with paryoll reconcilaitions
- Experience using multiple payroll platforms
- A fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation
- Experience with excel and spreadsheets
