A confidential employer is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to support the delivery of an accurate monthly payroll and contribute to wider people‑focused operations. This role requires a detail‑driven individual with strong technical capability, sound judgement, and the confidence to act as a trusted point of contact for pay‑related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and processing of monthly payroll data within required deadlines.
- Assist with calculations relating to additional hours, statutory leave and other pay variations.
- Produce essential payroll outputs for authorised internal and external recipients.
- Handle pay‑related queries through appropriate communication channels.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure alignment with statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Contribute to reporting, process consistency and continuous improvement activity.
- Provide informed guidance and support during periods requiring additional expertise.
Experience Required
- Proven payroll administration experience within a busy, deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence managing recurring payroll cycles.
- Employee lifecycle processing including changes, benefits and pension‑related updates.
- Clear communication skills for handling sensitive pay queries.
- Data and systems capability with proficiency in spreadsheets and payroll/HR tools.
- Experience with payroll platforms (any recognised system experience considered).
