Payroll Administrator
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Brighton – Only 2 days onsite

Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for a new challenge in a supportive and professional environment? We are a well-established payroll bureau in Brighton, and we’re seeking a motivated Payroll Administrator to join our growing team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK legislation, HMRC, and pension auto-enrolment.
- Handling client queries promptly and professionally.
- Processing statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.).
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to continuous improvements in processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a payroll role (bureau experience is desirable but not essential).
- Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build positive client relationships.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
