      Payroll Administrator

      £28,000 – £30,000

      Are you an aspiring payroll a professional looking to provide additional support to the payroll team due to a busy period.

      Job Overview

      You will be a key part of the payroll team assisting with the following.

      Day to Day Responsibilities:

      • Processing payrolls on behalf of clients in a timely and accurate manner from start to finish
      • Deal with various pay queries across the business
      • Manage client pension scheme via various pension providers

      Essential Skills and Competencies:

      • Experience with bureau payrolls
      • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
      • Payroll legislation knowledge
      • High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
      • Good communication and customer service skills

      Desirable Skills and Competencies:

      • Experience working in a busy payroll department
      • A fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation
      • Experience with Sage, STAR or Xero
