PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR – BASED IN BEDFORD – 12 MONTH CONTRACT – £15.00-£18.00 PER HOUR
Our client, a well know company in Bedford are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator on 12 month contract basis. The role will ideally be based in the office full time but the client is also happy to consider flexible working. The role could also be made permanent although that is not guaranteed.
You will join a large payroll team of 7 responsible for the company’s payroll across multiple totally around 6000 employees. The payroll in managed in house from start to finish, including benefits and pension administration.
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience processing a busy payroll, ideally from start to finish. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductions such overpayents, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance.
