      My client a global financial services client is seeking an interim Payroll Specialist to start asap for a period of 9 months

      This is a fantastic opportunity to work within financial services client and start a new role next month. Below is a breakdown of the duties of the role

      Payroll:

      • Processing the monthly payroll from end to end for approximately for 800+ employees within a team of 3
      • Prepare monthly payroll sign off.
      • Payment of disbursements for Tax, National Insurance, Pension, Give as You Earn and Attachment of Earnings.
      • Reconciliation of payroll control and benefit related balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
      • Perform monthly National Living Wage checks.
      • Assist with end of year reporting to HMRC such as P60, P11D &PAYE Settlement Agreement
      • Respond to general queries from our internal Finance Team. employees, HMRC and other Government bodies.
      • Liaising with internal and external auditors and dealing with any issues as they arise.
      • Continuously drive for process improvement of the payroll function.

      Person Specification

      • In depth ‘end to end’ payroll experience, including year-end processing and statutory payments and deductions.
      • Comfortable with manual calculations.
      • Good understanding of pension legislation including Auto-Enrolment.
      • Previous exposure to flexible benefits and payroll impact.
      • Experience of ADP IHCM advantageous
      • Good IT skills essential, including intermediate Excel (Vlookups & Pivot Tables) and MS Word.
