      Payroll Administrator – Payroll Bureau | Sage 50 | Career Growth Opportunity

Our client, a growing and well-respected payroll bureau, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on learning, and wants to grow in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

      As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with varying payroll frequencies (weekly, fortnightly, monthly), ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing using Sage 50 Payroll. You’ll also support pension submissions, statutory calculations, and client queries, gaining valuable experience across multiple sectors.

      🛠️ Key Responsibilities

      • Process end-to-end payrolls for a range of clients using Sage 50 Payroll
      • Manage different pay frequencies including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
      • Maintain and update employee records, starters, leavers, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)
      • Administer auto-enrolment pensions and liaise with pension providers
      • Handle client queries with professionalism and a solution-focused approach
      • Assist with year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds
      • Stay up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements

      What We‘re Looking For

      • Experience in payroll, ideally within a payroll bureau or client-facing environment
      • Working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll
      • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and pension processes
      • A keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy
      • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
      • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
