      Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

      Location: North York – hybrid 3 days a week

      A growing organization is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws, labor regulations, and internal policies. The position requires close collaboration with HR and Finance, as well as strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Process payroll accurately and on schedule.

      • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, changes, and terminations.

      • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.

      • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

      • Generate payroll reports and support audit processes.

      • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize payroll workflows.

      Qualifications & Skills:

      • 5+ years of experience in payroll administration.

      • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations.

      • Experience with systems such as Ceridian Dayforce, ADP WFN, or UKG.

      • Skilled in processing ROEs and responding to Service Canada.

      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software.

      • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

      • Experience with year-end processes (T4s, W-2s, reconciliations).

      • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation or currently in progress.
