Role: Payroll Specialist
Location: Markham – 5 days onsite
Our client in the trades and construction space are actively on the market to add to their growing payroll divison.

Overview
- Reporting to the Payroll Manager, Canada – the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing full cucle payroll for employees across Canada
- working together with a team of experienced specialists to handle high volume, multi-cycle payroll frequencies
- ensuring all payments, deductions, remittances and dues are accurate and submitted on time and in accordance with federal and provincial legislation
- ensure union legislation and deductions are up to date and accruately processed
- prepare third party remittances and various payroll reports
- experience with year end payroll documentations such as employee T-4s and T2200s
- prior systems experience with JD Edwards, ADP or Desjardins
- Time and attendance software experience
- PCP designation is a must!
