Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by a leading IT Hardware company to recruit for a Purchasing Supervisor.
Main purpose of the job
- Managing relationships with suppliers to improve availability and pricing
- Monitor purchasing statistics
- Ensure the adherence to procurement policies and compliance
- Manage and resolve supply chain issues
- Working alongside the logistics team
- Negotiate strategically with suppliers
Job Requirements
- Experience within a procurement and IT reselling is ideal
- Must be a confident decision maker
- Strong negotiation skills
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills
- Must have team leadership experience
