      As Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of UK payroll operations, working closely with internal stakeholders, third-party providers, and the wider HR and Reward functions.

      This is more than just a payroll processing role – you will be involved in strategic payroll initiatives, benefits administration, and project work, including process improvements, automation, system transitions, and compliance-related initiatives.

      ✅ Key Responsibilities:

      • Manage complex monthly UK payrolls for a high-profile population, ensuring accuracy and compliance
      • Liaise with external payroll providers and internal departments to ensure timely and correct payroll delivery
      • Administer UK benefits including pensions, private healthcare, and other reward schemes
      • Support with P11Ds, PSA submissions, and HMRC compliance
      • Drive payroll-related project work, including system/process upgrades, audits, and policy enhancements
      • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Tax teams on reporting and reconciliations
      • Remain up to date with UK payroll legislation and best practices, ensuring the firm’s compliance and readiness for change

      💼 About You:

      • Proven experience in UK payroll within a professional services or corporate environment
      • Experience managing complex payroll structures, high volumes, or multi-entity arrangements
      • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory reporting (P11Ds, PAYE, etc.)
      • Excellent Excel skills and experience with major payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar)
      • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
      • Discreet, professional, and highly organised with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and delivery
      • Previous exposure to payroll or reward projects is highly desirable
