      Payroll Senior Specialist (Global Mobility & EU Payroll)

      Location: Central London (Prime location near Piccadilly / Oxford Street) – Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)
      Salary / Package: £64k + Performance Bonus + Exceptional Benefits (30% retail discount, private pension, 34 days holiday)

      Our client is one of the largest and most recognizable global apparel retailers in the world. Known for innovation, quality, and rapid international growth, they are looking for a dynamic HR/Payroll Senior Specialist to join their European headquarters in London.

      This is a highly visible role where you will act as a key business partner to regional EU HR managers and payroll teams, taking full ownership of end-to-end payroll governance and expat global mobility.

      The Role & Key Responsibilities

      • EU Payroll Governance: Manage and validate end-to-end payroll cycles across various European markets, ensuring absolute compliance, strict controls, and accurate month-end financial reporting.
      • Global Mobility & Immigration: Lead the mobility function for expatriates moving within the EU, coordinating directly with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders.
      • Strategic Improvement: Deliver strategic input to elevate EU-level HR policies, payroll systems, and compliance tools.

      What Our Client Is Looking For

      • High-Volume Experience: 3 to 5 years of payroll management experience handling large-scale workforces (1,000+ employees), ideally within retail or fast-paced commercial environments.
      • Technical Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of taxation principles, expat rules, and major HRIS platforms (Workday or Workforce Systems preferred).
      • Communication & Culture: Fluent English skills with the cultural flexibility needed to seamlessly collaborate with diverse international teams.
      • Mindset: A proactive, self-driven individual with a “can-do” attitude, sharp numerical skills, and absolute discretion.
