We are currently supporting our Cheshire based client to recruit an experienced Payroll & Finance professional into their payroll team to support and develop the existing payroll service to their clients within the public sector, a real team player who will support and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients. This role will involve completing the full end to end payroll process and all year end activities, accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- End to end payroll – Monthly
- Ability to perform finance functions alongside Payroll
- Manipulation of data within Excel
- Year end processes including the preparation of P11D’s and HMRC submissions
- Assist with finance functions – Purchase ledger, invoicing
- Providing a first class customer service to clients
- Processing of LGPS pensions and TPS
Requirements
- Experienced end to end payroller
- Excellent communicator
- Payroll experience, including all year end activities
- Experience of working with local authority would be an advantage
- Full time
- Opportunity to transition a payroll
