Role: Payroll and Benefits Specialist
Location: Downtown Toronto (walking distance from union station)
Working location: Hybrid
Our client in the professional services space is excited to welcome an experienced and confident full cycle Payroll and Benefits Specialist to collaborate closely with HR to manage end to end payroll and benefits for the organziation.
Overview:
- Reporting to the Chief People Officer and working closely alongside HR and Finance departments
- Comfortable processing 250 salaried employees based in ON
- Familarity with taxable benefits, benefits administration, payroll compliance and legislation
- Acting as the main point of contact for employees regarding questions and inquries regarding their pay and vacation etc.
- Year end processing experience with T4s, communicating with the CRA etc
- Ability to own the entire benefits process – communicating with vendors, managing premiums etc.
- ADP WFN experience is mandatory for this role
- Excel skills, expertise with pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc. to manage and review data entries
- PCP or PLP certification considered an asset
- implementation experience considered an asset
Soft skills
- Relationship management with internal employees and stakeholders
- Ability to be client facing to mansage vendor relationships
