Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with large service organisation who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join their team in Sunderland.
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Supporting the payroll process in a high volume payroll environment using Itrent
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Dealing with processing starters and leaver records
- Queries
- P11D’s
- RTI’s
- SSP/SMP/SPP
- Reconciling data
- Legislation, manual calculations
- Handling payroll queries
- HMRC submissions
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Worked as a Payroll assistant or similar
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Understand the payroll deadlines & requirements
- Able to do end to end payroll
- Great customer service as dealing with queries
