💼 Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
- Ensure all payroll deadlines are met and comply with current legislation
- Handle starters, leavers, holiday pay, SSP, SMP, auto-enrolment pensions, and year-end processes
- Respond to client queries professionally and accurately via phone and email
- Perform manual calculations and reconciliations where needed
- Collaborate with senior payroll officers and contribute to process improvements
✅ What They Are Looking For:
- Previous end-to-end payroll processing experience (bureau experience is a plus!)
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
- A customer-first approach and excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task under pressure
- Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage, Iris, BrightPay, or similar
