Senior Pensions Lead
Location: London
Salary: £47,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Very flexible working – only 1-2 days a week in the office!
The Role – We are seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Lead to take ownership of day-to-day pension operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and exceptional service delivery.
Key Duties:
- Reconcile pension data and investigate discrepancies
- Manage month-end pension processes and contribution submissions
- Liaise with pension providers and resolve complex queries
- Process retirement quotes and support pension-related enquiries
- Ensure compliance with NHS Pension scheme regulations
- Utilise advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to analyse and validate data
- Drive process improvements and maintain high data integrity
About You:
- Essential: NHS Pensions experience
- Exceptional pensions knowledge
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Tech savvy with payroll/pension systems experience
- Confident communicator with a proactive, “go-getter” attitude
- USS and SAUL experience (desirable)
