My client is specialist payroll provider in Liverpool currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to work as part of a fantastic team. You will be responsible for the joint running of 150 client payrolls.
Responsibilities
- Full end to end Payroll processing for a portfolio of clients within an accountancy firm
- Collation and input of all relevant information
- New starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence payments, allowances, maternity, apprentice levy and paternity pay
- To administer SSP, SMP and SPP
- Prepare and distribute payslips, P45s, P60s
- NI, overtime and other deductions
- RTI submissions
- Auto enrolment
- Pension deductions
- Handling queries
- Year end process’s
- Assist the Payroll Manager with reporting, compliance tasks, and ad hoc projects
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Payroll experience in a client payroll environment
- Strong Legislation knowledge
- Pension & Auto enrolment experience
- Excel including V look up
- Brightpay experience beneficial
- Excellent attention to detail
- Manual calculation ability
- Familiar with confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Benefits and information
- £25,000 to £27,000, dependent on experience
- Hours : 35 per week 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday) Lunch : 1 hour
- Annual leave : 20 days plus bank holidays
