      We’re excited to be partnering with a vibrant, modern accountancy practice based in Brighton, currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their growing team.

      The Role

      As a key member of the payroll team, you’ll manage and support a range of payrolls varying in size and complexity – ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a first-class client experience.

      You’ll play an integral part in delivering outstanding service, providing advice, and supporting clients with all aspects of payroll and benefits.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients on weekly, bi-weekly, four-weekly, and monthly schedules.
      • Review payrolls prepared by colleagues and provide guidance or training when needed.
      • Prepare and file Real Time Information (RTI) submissions.
      • Handle payroll queries, including statutory pay, holiday pay, and redundancy matters.
      • Process both multi-employee and single-director payrolls.
      • Issue payslips and advise clients of PAYE liabilities.
      • Manage P11Ds, P45s, P60s, and other payroll documentation.
      • Liaise with clients, HMRC, and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
      • Set up and maintain client pension schemes, uploading contributions as required.

      About You

      • Proven experience in payroll administration, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau environment.
      • Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
      • Strong working knowledge of payroll systems and UK payroll legislation.
      • Collaborative, proactive, and committed to delivering great service.
