Payroll Administrator – Full Training Provided
Are you highly organised, confident with Microsoft Office, and ready to take your first or next step into a career in payroll? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Payroll Administrator to join our growing accountancy firm. No payroll experience? No problem – full training will be provided!
About the Role:
You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly team where you’ll be responsible for helping process payrolls for a range of clients – from small businesses to larger companies. You’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced payroll professionals, with the chance to grow your skills in a thriving accountancy environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Inputting and maintaining payroll data accurately
- Communicating with clients regarding payroll queries
- Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
- Supporting the wider payroll and admin team as needed
What We’re Looking For:
We’re open to applications from:
- Experienced payroll administrators looking for a new challenge, OR
- Administrators or graduates with excellent Microsoft Excel and Office skills, keen to learn and develop within payroll
Key skills & attributes:
- Strong Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, Word)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional environment
- Payroll experience is a bonus, but not essential
