You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative payroll team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple payroll cycles and have the chance to work closely with a dedicated payroll mentor to help build your technical skills and payroll knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of high-volume payrolls
- Support the team in maintaining accurate employee records, timesheets, and payroll data
- Help with the administration of statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and HMRC regulations
- Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with HR and Finance departments where necessary
