Portfolio Payroll are supporting a global client in Liverpool, seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for 12 months.
This role is hybrid and offers a day rate of up to £275 per day (Inside IR35).
Key duties of the role include;
- Working with different areas of the business including 3rd party entities and Financial BP’s
- Preparation of journals, post accruals and reclassifications
- Performing reconciliations, and identifying and rectifying issues within the system
- Process allocations incl. Superannuation & benefit queries, journal entries, balance accounts etc.
- Involvement with entity budgets and forecasts
- Analysis and report on variances

Person Specification;
- Degree / Qualification within the accountancy/finance field
- 5+ years experience within accounting and finance
- Be able to hit the ground running with minimal to no input
- Collaborative and pro active approach
- Be available on a short notice / Immediately available
The role will become permanent for the right individual, following the temporary period of up to 12 months.
