We are currently assisting with the recruitment for an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor to join a growing, people‑focused leading chartered accountancy. This role sits within a high‑performing payroll team that supports a wide range of clients with complex, high‑volume, and multi‑frequency payrolls. The role will be working as part of a large team focusing on processing a complex varied portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage end to end payroll across multiple frequencies for a complex varied portfolio of clients
- Process benefits, share schemes, pensions etc…
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for complex payroll matters.
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Working on continuous system improvement where required
- Stay up to date on legislation changes
Essential experience:
- Strong experience processing high volume payroll for multiple clients in a bureau or accountancy environment
- Experience using IRIS system
- Experienced on payroll systems
- Experienced managing client relationships
- Ability to process pensions/benefits
- Strong IT/excel skills
