We are currently partnered with a large, fast-growing accountancy who are seeking a Payroll Senior to join their team on a permanent basis out of their Harlow office. The role is permanent 3 days a week in the office and 2 days work from home.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality payroll services to a portfolio of clients and assisting more junior members of the team where required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and process own portfolio of clients from start – finish
- Proactively manage client expectations
- Oversee year end processing & other statutory reporting
- Implement and maintain robust internal quality control procedures for all payroll processes where required
- Act as a primary point of contact for queries
- Assist with the training and onboarding of new team members
- Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of payroll systems and workflows
Experience processing multiple client’s payrolls within a bureau or accountancy environment is essential. Experience using IRIS Payroll Professional or STAR will also be desirable.
