Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate transmission of payroll data to ADP and investigate/resolve payroll issues.
Reporting and Compliance: Create payroll reports, maintain accurate employee databases, and prepare reconciliations and payroll deductions.
Benefits Administration: Coordinate employee benefits and process vacation/leave requests.
Financial Support: Assist with financial audits, prepare T4s and ROEs, and reconcile WSIB and EHT deductions.
Record Keeping: Maintain payroll and personnel files, including employee training records.
Certification: Canadian Payroll Association PCP Certificate required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in payroll, preferably in a multi-location environment with experience processing payroll for hourly union and salaried employees.
Software Skills: Experience with ADP and Time and Attendance systems.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office.
Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
