      Bilingual Payroll Coordinator (English/French)
      Location: Fully Remote (Canada-based)
      Salary: Competitive, based on experience
      Experience Level: 3-5 years

      About the Role
      We’re looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven Bilingual Payroll Coordinator to join a growing payroll team. This role is fully remote and will support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple employee groups, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high level of employee support.

      The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Nethris or Desjardins payroll systems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable handling both transactional payroll and employee inquiries in English and French.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Process full-cycle payroll for salaried and hourly employees across assigned groups
      • Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time, including earnings, deductions, and adjustments
      • Maintain and update employee payroll records in compliance with company policies and legislation
      • Handle employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, and benefits in both English and French
      • Support payroll processing for unionized employee groups, ensuring adherence to collective agreements (where applicable)
      • Support year-end activities including T4s/Relevé 1s and reconciliations
      • Review payroll reports and audit data for accuracy and compliance
      • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters
      • Assist with payroll system updates, testing, or process improvements as needed

      Qualifications

      • 3-5 years of payroll experience in a high-volume or multi-provincial environment
      • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
      • Hands-on experience with Nethris or Desjardins payroll systems
      • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
      • Experience supporting unionized environments is considered a strong asset
      • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication and customer service mindset

      Nice to Have

      • Experience with payroll analysis, reporting, or reconciliations
      • Exposure to system implementations, upgrades, or integrations
      • PCP designation (or working towards it)
