Process Payroll: Accurately process payroll for salary and hourly staff on a weekly basis.
Employee Data Management: Process new hires, terminations, status changes, and pay rate changes.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, prepare payroll journal entries, and issue Records of Employment.
Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits plans and union agreements.
Record Keeping: Maintain and update payroll records on all platforms.
Financial Reporting: Prepare T4 slips, year-end reconciliations, and periodic payroll reports.
Education: University degree in a business-related field; PCP certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in payroll.
Software Skills: Experience with UKG and ADP WFN software is beneficial.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Personal Qualities: Proactive work ethic, ability to work under pressure, excellent people skills, and strong attention to detail.
