      HR & Benefits Administrator

      Location: Mississauga, ON
      Schedule: Monday to Friday, fully onsite
      Contract: 2 months, with potential for extension
      Start Date: ASAP

      About the Role

      We are looking for an HR & Benefits Administrator to support the HR team on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on benefits experience who is comfortable assisting employees, managing HR requests, and working with HR systems.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage day-to-day employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, RRSP/DPSP, and EFAP.

      • Process benefit changes, enrolments, terminations, and annual renewals.

      • Respond to employee and manager questions related to benefits and HR programs.

      • Monitor and respond to requests through the HR shared inbox.

      • Work with benefits providers and external partners to resolve issues.

      • Support WSIB, Workers’ Compensation, and disability-related administration.

      • Maintain accurate employee information and benefits records.

      • Assist with payroll-related benefits reporting and reconciliations.

      • Update employee information in the HRIS system and support the Award recognition platform.

      • Provide general HR administrative support as needed.

      Qualifications

      • 2-3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits administration.

      • Experience handling employee HR and benefits inquiries.

      • Experience with HRIS and HR support systems.

      • Knowledge of WSIB, disability management, or Workers’ Compensation is an asset.

      • Exposure to Canadian HR practices and legislation is an asset.

      • Experience with Avanti is an asset.

      • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.

      • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.

      • Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.

      • Available to start ASAP and comfortable working 5 days onsite in Missisauga
