      Payroll Coordinator

      Position Overview

      Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an excellent development opportunity for a payroll professional who is looking to expand their knowledge, take on additional responsibilities, and grow within the organization. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for approximately 125 employees using ADP.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 125 employees
      • Review employee hours, payroll changes, deductions, and adjustments
      • Maintain accurate employee payroll records in ADP
      • Process new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other employee updates
      • Review payroll reports and identify or resolve discrepancies
      • Assist with payroll reconciliations and year-end activities
      • Respond to employee payroll-related questions in a timely and professional manner
      • Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation
      • Support additional payroll, benefits, and administrative projects as required

      Qualifications

      • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation completed or in progress
      • Previous experience supporting or processing Canadian payroll
      • Experience using ADP is strongly preferred
      • Knowledge of payroll legislation, deductions, and taxable benefits
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
      • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
      • Comfortable working with confidential employee information
      • Motivated to learn, develop, and grow within a payroll function

      Compensation and Benefits

      • Salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, with a target salary of approximately $75,000
