      Role: Payroll & Benefits Specialist

      Location: Downtown Toronto

      Working model: Onsite during training, hybrid after probation

      Our client in the retail space is looking for an experienced payroll and benefits professional to support the Director of HR with end to end payroll processing. A great team with excellent company perks looking to secure their next long term employee.

      Overview:

      • Experience processing A-Z payroll for 150+ hourly and salaried employees
      • Managing a multi-cycle environment (biweekly and weekly)
      • Experience with benefits processing such as payroll deductions and benefit remittances to the vendor
      • Strong compliance knowledge for ON rules and regulations
      • Previous experience processing union and non-union employees considered an asset
      • Strong year end compliance practices for T4s, month end and quarterly reporting
      • Excel experience with VLOOKUP, Pivot tables considered an asset.
      • Systems experience with UKG or ADP WFN considered an asset, willing to train
      • PCP certification considered an asset
      • Seeking a collaborative communicator who is confident in working with different department heads, leadership and all employees regarding their payroll inquiries
