      Key Responsibilities:

      Portfolio is working alongside a leading private women’s health centre in West London who specialise in private healthcare our client Is looking for an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper.. They focus on providing patient-tailored medical care and a premium experience to customers.

      Who You Are

      The Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper is responsible for the day-to-day finance operations, facilitating both annual external and internal audits, and ensuring all financial statements and records remain compliant. You will maintain accurate records, process supplier payments, manage payroll, balance ledgers, reconcile bank accounts, and support the preparation of financial schedules in line with sound accounting procedures.

      • Reconcile the monthly company bank account
      • Reconcile supplier statements
      • Set up payment runs
      • Review and file invoices/purchases
      • Prepare monthly revenue reconciliation report
      • Prepare monthly salaries and overtime, administration of pension scheme, liaise with Customs & Revenue and employees as necessary
      • Review payslips and address queries
      • Oversee purchase ledger: Ensure that all invoices and expenses are processed within internal policies and targets, reconcile statements and work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, prepare payment runs and follow up work as required
      • Generate purchase orders
      • Insured invoices month end reconciliation
      • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end accounts and liaise with external auditor
      • Prepare monthly reporting and KPI reports
      • Oversee invoicing and credit control

      Key Skills

      • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
      • Strong administrative and organisational skills
      • Excellent IT skills including high level of proficiency in Excel and Xero
      • Previous experience working in the medical industry preferred
